Omar bringt seine palästinensische Familie aus ihrem Stadthaus an die kargen Hänge des Berg Hebron, wo sie sich mit um seine Schafzucht kümmern sollen. In direkter Nachbarschaft hat sich der jüdische Siedler Avidan mit einer Gruppe Gleichgesinnter niedergelassen, um in dem wüsten Land ebenfalls Schafe zu züchten.
